Workshop with Kostas Anastasiadis On Sunday, June 7th, 2026, drummer and educator Kostas Anastasiadis returns to Thessaloniki with a unique hands‑on percussion workshop titled “The Harmony of Rhythm”. A three‑hour musical journey dedicated to the connection between the body and rhythm, the natural flow of movement, and the expressive power of phrasing and time.
During the workshop, participants will explore:
- the body as a source of rhythmic awareness,
- the importance of phrasing and articulation,
- and rhythmic displacement as a creative tool for freedom and expression.
Through simple, accessible exercises and a deeply experiential approach, Kostas guides musicians into a space where rhythm becomes energy, movement, and musical expression. The workshop is open to percussion groups and musicians of all levels, from beginners to advanced players.

🎶 About Kostas Anastasiadis
Kostas Anastasiadis is one of Greece’s most active drummers and percussion educators, with a career spanning more than three decades. He has collaborated with leading musicians and ensembles across the Greek music scene, while dedicating much of his work to teaching rhythm through workshops and masterclasses in Greece and abroad.
His approach blends technique, movement, and inner perception, highlighting rhythm as a form of personal expression and communication. Through Karanos Samba Reggae, he actively promotes the culture of percussion and the power of collective musical experience.
