Tapeworm Electric is a female fronted Rock band from the suburbs of Athens, Greece. Formed in 2018, the band is heavily influenced by the British Rock sound of the 70s as well as from the American Arena scene of the same era. Their music is hard and melodic at the same time, infused with psychedelic passages.
Vintage Sound
Tapeworm Electric maintain a “live” feeling in their recordings, having an organic approach during the production process, without trying to sound vintage on purpose. In the summer of 2019 they released their first digital EP “Fire”. After a few line up changes and a pandemic crisis, the band recorded and released a series of singles in digital format. They are currently working on a full length album.

Her vocal prowess anchors the band’s dynamic sound, soaring above the driving rhythms laid down by bassist George Kasapidis, who also contributes backing vocals. Akis Dafalias provides the fiery guitar riffs that define the band’s hard rock edge, while Tony Michalakopoulos drives the music forward with his precise drumming. Completing the lineup is George Bizas on keyboards, adding layers of texture and atmosphere to the sonic tapestry.
